JEFF BONNER

Founder & President

Mr. Bonner is a seasoned finance professional with Wall Street expertise; a successful serial entrepreneur with hands-on experience; and a growth leader with in-depth knowledge of financial options for small and middle market businesses.

He has founded and managed many businesses in his more than 30-year career. Most recently, Mr. Bonner recognized a need for capital among small to medium size businesses and founded Grace Capital Resources. His mission is right in the company name: provide the resources companies need to launch, grow and succeed.

In addition to being President of Grace Capital Resources, he is also President of Transvest, LLC, a proprietary trading and investment firm specializing in equities and bonds.  He is also an advisor and financier to several real estate investment firms as well as an investment boutique specializing in unique financings.

Mr. Bonner began his career at Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc. in 1985, where he managed a multi-billion dollar tax-exempt short term floating rate note desk. After his service at Kidder Peabody, he became an entrepreneur in real estate construction where he founded and managed a privately-held company, before returning to the securities industry five years later. He joined Refco Securities, Inc. in 1993, where he founded and managed the European Equity desk trading U.S. equities, fixed income products and currencies. After five years at Refco Securities, he joined Highland Asset Management, Inc. as an Investment Manager trading U.S. and International equities as well as fixed income products. During this time, he also was an entrepreneur, developing several businesses.

He joined Redwood Brokerage in 2005 as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, in addition to being the Chairman of Redwood’s Managing Committee. His experience and vision were instrumental to Redwood’s growth and development.

Mr. Bonner shares his time and talent with many industry and philanthropic organizations, serving on numerous boards and committees. He is currently a trustee for the Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child in Summit, NJ chairing its finance committee. In addition, he founded and was past president of the Watchung Hills Youth Benevolent Association.
